Our 9 day trip to Kenya with Incredible Africa is probably the best safari we have ever done ! Vikram came up with a tailor made itinerary to suit our preferences. At the beginning, we were confused on which country and parks to visit. Vikram was quite knowledgeable and experience, and help us decide on a few parks in Kenya and it was the best decision. His attention to details right from explaining visa procedures to packing lists to ensuring smooth arrival and departure from Nairobi was astounding! The team was very patient in answering all our queries over a 5 month period. Vikram ensured we had a top notch experience everywhere we stayed! Icing on the cake was a sundowner he had helped organize on the penultimate day of our trip at Masai Mara. Special shout out to both the Simons who were our guides throughout the journey. We recently returned from an awesome 10-day safari in Kenya organised by Vikram and his team at Incredible Africa Safaris. We had 2 young kids with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience too. Vikram was highly responsive and flexible when planning our trip, and again during our safari, he would check in on us daily. Our guide Jackson was excellent - deeply knowledgeable, with a great attitude, and really good with the kids. He was a key reason for our absolutely fantastic experience. "Our first African safari... Incredible..."
This was our first Safari and Incredible Africa Safaris lived up to its name and more ! The trip was organized for our large group of friends and families perfectly by Vikram and Sutapa (both the planning and guidance provided before the trip and the on-ground logistics including safari drives, lodging, food, etc. during our 10 day Safari). The drivers were all very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us explore and view the amazing diversity of wildlife at Tsavo, Amboseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara from extremely close quarters! We are out of Africa now, but Africa will always stay with us, thanks to Incredible Africa Safaris !
"Everything about the trip was perfect" …
We had the best experience ever in Kenya. During our first telephone conversation, Vikram the promoter of Incredible Africa Safari’s sought to understand our requirements - our safari travel history to date, the level of comfort we would prefer, the diversity we were looking for in our itinerary and the type of wildlife / animal behaviour we would most like to see. He then crafted a ten day trip which began in the rugged landscape of Tsavo National Park, the Tuskers at Amboseli against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro , the serenity of Lake Naivasha and topped off with the last three days at Masai Mara known for its predator action and a Reserve beyond compare. He read our personality and requirements perfectly and made recommendations, without at any time seeing to prefer one option over another. His focus was rather to ensure that our choices were well informed and suited to our needs. While dealing with Vikram it was more like dealing with a knowledgeable and honest friend , whose passion just happened to be safari’s ! We had yet another memorable experience with IAS last month when we undertook a 10 day Kenyan safari in Tsavo Amboseli Naivasha and Masai Mara in a group of 36 people. The resorts were very comfortable and the animal sightings were absolutely mindblowing ! "Beyond 5 stars"
Just completed an amazing value for money trip to the Maara with incredible Africa. the are the people to go with to the African bushes. their guides know how to give the clients the fullest satisfaction both the casual tourist and to the serious photographers. They know their angles and spots to place the vehicles. As a conservation photographer i admired the concern shown by their driver cum guides for the welfare of the animals. Would love to do more trips with them and will always recommend them to all my friends. Vikram & Chetan plan for every detail. my honest view is that the there has to be more stars then the 5 given by me which is very constraining. Way to go IAS!
"Superbly well organised"
We just completed an awesome 8 night safari in Kenya organised by Incredible Africa Safaris (IAS) team. The trip was superbly well organised by Vikram and Chetan. They gave us very valuable suggestions to begin with on the places to visit. The best part is they engaged the entire family in planning the trip with their knowledge of the wildlife parks in Kenya. Once the travel itinerary was set up they ensured that we were delighted at every step of the journey. Right from the safari van with our awesome Guide Paul everything was perfect. Also it was really nice of Sutapa to keep tracking our movements and checking up with us whether we were all fine on a daily basis was a great gesture. Now about the parks and the experience of wildlife sightings. Paul our guide was just fantastic in spotting the rarest if animals in each park that we visited. He provided us with detailed information on the park its flora and fauna and with his sense of humor kept the kids fully engaged on all safaris. He is probably the best man to have as your guide. Thanks to IAS for providing us services of Paul. We travelled to Amboseli Tsavo Lake Naivasha and Maara over the 8 nights and 9 days that we were in Kenya. Both Vikram and Chetan had prepared us well and the lodges chosen by them were perfect for each location. We had awesome sightings of the entire range of Kenyan wildlife including Leopard Lions Buffaloes Girrafes Zebras Rhino Cheetah Elephants and many many varieties of antelopes. We got a chance to see a pair of lionesses trying to stalk and plan a hunt of a buffalo which they eventually abandoned after an hour of trying. It was an awesome one hour spent at real close quarters of a close encounter !!! Team IAS truly knows their business and takes care of very minute detail and makes your experience super smooth and enjoyable. Wishing them great success ahead as they grow their business. Highly highly recommended by our family to all those who are planning a Wild life trip to Kenya !! "3rd time with IAS... can't wait for the next safari"
Our third time to Africa... Ah, Africa! It gets inside you, filling you up with such wonder, joy, amazement, and awe. But the only way to see the raw beauty of what Africa has to offer is with you Vikram, at the helm, and you Sutapa guiding us and sorting out our queries with such charm. Vikram what I loved is the way you made all of us feel like we were complete naturalists, even when we spotted something and called it by the wrong name! Our trip was simply amazing. The whole group got along famously. Each day so different from the other - wonder how you managed that! I think we were so lucky to see so many wonderful sights. I can still feel the excitement at Samburu of watching that brave Dik Dik escape with his life, between the two lionesses, his heart in his mouth, and ours beating so hard we could hear it. And the cutest sight of the cubs being ticked off by their snarling mother for following her and disclosing her presence to the warthog she had been stalking. Oh nature at her finest bountiful best! We are having Africa withdrawal symptoms...... Can't wait for next year!
"13 days of adventure"
An ode to Incredible Africa Safaris for making our trip so memorable. 13 days of adventure. It was an unforgettable safari where we were extremely fortunate to see 49 lions, millions of zebras, Masai giraffes, Reticulated giraffes, wildebeest, various species of antelopes, cape buffalos, jackals, hyenas, Black Rhinoceros, White Rhinoceros, hippos, African elephants, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles, warthogs, baboons, monkeys and...the list goes on and on. The most exciting of all was the great African wildebeest migration, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.... wow! It was breathtaking. Incredible views of the plains dotted with huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, and the Mara river infested with large Nile crocodiles lying in wait. It happened right before our eyes. One zebra ....the boldest , the most fearless one decided to cross the river Mara...followed by thousands of them. An unforgettable sight which is viewed only by the lucky ones. Each day was better than the earlier. The clock was ticking and the excitement was growing. Thanks to Incredible Africa Safaris for making our dream come true.

"Second safari with IAS...will travel again"
We had a wonderful family holiday in South Africa. There were a few teething issues but they got sorted out. Kapama in Kruger and Cape Royale in Cape Town were our favourite stays. We saw the Big Five in Kruger. The guide in Cape Town was outstanding. The winery tour was interesting. This was our second African safari with Incredible Africa Safaris and we look forward to traveling with you guys again!

"Excellent organisation"
Excelente organização, estivemos agora em Tadoba e Ranthambore. Vimos mais de 20 tigres em 7 dias de Safari. Tudo certo, nos buscaram no aeroporto e levaram para todos os lugares e aeroportos, sem estresse. Hotéis maravilhosos também!!! Faremos muitas viagem para ver a vida selvagem. Obrigada! (Translation: Excellent organization, we were now in Tadoba and Ranthambore. We saw more than 20 Tigers in 7 days of safari. All right, we searched at the airport and took it to all the places and airports, without stress. Hotels wonderful too!!! We'll do a lot of trip to see the wildlife. Thank you!)

Just returned from an unbelievable trip to Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan, India. Our trip was arranged by Incredible Africa Safaris and we are so glad that we chose them to make all our arrangements. We managed to see 9 tigers [yes 9 tigers !! :) ] and 1 leopard in 5 safari drives, which was simply amazing - many of our friends had prepared us by telling us that we may not see any tigers at all !!! Visiting in the right season and moving with the right people made all the difference and we were lucky to get so many sightings - prior to this, we had done only 1 safari in Corbett and had not seen a tiger in 3 days there. This was our first time sighting a tiger in the wild and it was an absolute thrill -- we are hooked to safari life now I guess. Thanks Chetan Mulani, Vikram Dayal and the entire team at Incredible Africa Safaris - we can't wait to ask you guys to plan our first Safari experience in Africa and many more to come I guess..! We just got back from a 2 night stay in Sawai Madhopur, Ranthambore safari. We had super tiger sightings - 6 in all. Our guide was very informative and enthusiastic. The driver was in full control of the vehicle - even on the rockiest of paths. Learnt a lot about the jungle and animals. Highly recommended.
"Best safari ever... saying farewell was difficult"
We are back from Kenya and the hangover still continues. Chetan and Vikram, we can't thank you enough for having planned and organised an impeccable itinerary that suits our requirements, that too within a short period of time. The passion with which you involve yourselves into every detail of the planning can be truly seen and is simply commendable! You helped us choose the right camera which was a big saviour. The itinerary was so well crafted that it built itself to a crescendo, with the last leg being the icing on the cake! The choice of lodges, the food, the comfort and the game drives were amazing. It was not merely the sightings but the experiences of the wild- the leopard within a few feet unperturbed by us, waiting for the gazelle, the three lionesses clumsily perched on a tree, the pride of nine lions strategising and attempting a kill, the three lions on the road being chased by a hyena, the one-eyed male lion within four feet on a mound staring at us at eye level, the beautiful landscapes of three different places, the serval cat crouching under the grass in the swamps, the male black rhino mounting a disinterested female, the many birds and other animals...all in all unforgettable experiences! A big thanks also to our patient, experienced and friendly guide Simon who knew the pulse of the place so well as if he was born there! My nine year old son still fondly reminisces and yearns to be there! He doesn't know who are the persons behind the scenes but we would like to thank on his behalf too . He remembers the Swahili song and the greetings and misses his friends from &Beyond Kichwa Tembo, that he was almost in tears when he bade them farewell. This trip happened only because of you guys and one of the best wildlife trips EVER! We know whom to approach the next time!
"Bush breakfast"
I just got back from a 6 nights 7 days safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and the Ndutu region in Tanzania with Incredible Africa Safaris. It was an amazing experience which I enjoyed thoroughly. Watching a cheetah hunt a Thomson's gazelle, a wildebeest calf being born, lions wallowing in Buffalo dung and our bush breakfast right in the middle of the savannah were some of the highlights of my trip. The arrangements made by IAS were impeccable right from the car and driver to the stay. I had no problem obtaining vegetarian food as well. Our stay in a tent in the wilderness at Chaka Camp was a unique and incredible experience. My knowledge about photography, birds and wildlife has also increased tremendously as a result of having Chetan and Vikram around. I would like to thank Incredible Africa Safaris for this wonderful holiday and would love to be a part of many more safaris in the future.
"Every detail had been thought of"
We recently completed a tiger safari to Ranthambore National Park and Taj Mahal visit. The complete package from IAS was truly spectacular. They did an amazing job making us feel taken care of at every step of the way. The little things like having somebody being in constant contact with us to make sure our guide at the Taj Mahal is waiting for us in the hotel lobby to sending the drivers numbers beforehand. Every detail had been thought of by IAS. Every request was taken with the same importance and every effort was made to make sure our requests were fulfilled. IAS is exceptionally knowledgeable in their craft. Even though the namesake is Africa they know how to organize a 'safari' anywhere. Making sure our mission was accomplished was probably IAS's tireless goal. Seeing tigers on two of the four game drives in the winter months is rare but because of IAS's tireless effort of making sure we were at the right place at the right time we got to see tigers. Your ability to understand your client's wants and needs gives credibility and sets you above everybody else. I really loved the care and attention you put in the itinerary you sent us to the drivers you used, the guides you provided and all the behind the scenes work you did so we never felt any discomfort while under your care. On a personal note - we love you both Viki uncle and Sutapa auntie. Thank you for such an amazing holiday. Very proud of you and everything that you are doing. Can wait to see you again.
"Can't get better...hungry for more"
Kenya: If u like wildlife it cant get any better.. And if u want it done"your way".. It cant get any better than with "Incredible Africa Safaris!!" Vikram Dayal, my buddy of 28 yrs and Chetan Mulani, now my buddy for life.. U guys rock!! The organisation, planning from - no. of days, timing, when to go - dates, flights, vehicles, fantastic guides, INCREDIBLE knowledge, vegeterian food (imp for me..) accommodation (normally I don't care) to finding the right click of crazy like-minded people put together...Very professional/well priced and yet a feel-good warm satisfying and hungry for more trip!!! Special mention: The guides are smart and know their way in the jungles and take pride in their heritage.. Fantastic find!! Wouldn't be the same without their friendly banter too... Being an amateur photographer I appreciated the free advice I got from my fellow passengers and thank you sooo much Chetan for even letting me use ur fantastic camera.. NOW!! Can one ask for more??? "Beyond surreal"
Just returned this morning from an incredible 7 day Safari organized by Incredible Africa Safaris in Masai Mara, Kenya. Our base camp was the scenic Camp Mara Aruba on Talek River in Masai Mara. It is not easy to describe the experience as it was beyond surreal.......the sight of the huge amount of wildebeest we saw during migration amidst a river crossing makes me get goose bumps. Thanks to the superbly thought out itinerary by the team from Incredible Africa Safaris we were able to enjoy the trip in every way possible. The two guides Simon and Paul were an amazing duo to have on the trip as they were fully conversant with the routes, the rules and the flora and fauna on display in the Mara. It was wonderful to hear the friendly banter on identification of birds, animals and trees between the guides and Vikram Dayal and Chetan Mulani of Incredible Africa Safaris on the game drives. It was truly enriching. We had superb sightings of the Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, African Elephant, Hippos, Cape Buffalo, Western white bearded Wildebeest, Thompson's gazelle, Grant's Gazelle, Impala, Topi Jumela, Eland, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizard, Kirks Dik Dik, Zebras, Masai Giraffes, Olive Baboons, Common Reedbuck, Defassa Waterbuck, Cokes Hartebeest, Rock Hyrax, Bush Hyrax, Dwarf Mongoose, Banded Mongoose, White tailed Mongoose, Spotted Hyenas, Warthogs, Vervet Monkey, Black backed jackal and Ostrich. The memories of our early morning breakfast with the sounds of the jungle and lunch beneath an Acacia tree in the middle of the nowhere in the Mara shall remain etched in my mind for all time to come. The like-minded people on the group made a big difference to the trip beyond a doubt. This, I credit the team from Incredible Africa Safaris for!! All were thoroughly keen on photography, wild life and nature in general. I highly recommend Incredible Africa Safaris as your organizers for any trip into Africa as they know what they are doing and they know what the customers want. Additionally, they have completed over 10,000 hours of Safari time!! Vikram is an experienced hand in Africa and Chetan a wildlife buff and a true assistant in organizing memorable safaris in Africa. "Surprise boat ride enroute to airport"
Just back from a 6 night 7 day safari in Masai Mara, Kenya with Incredible Africa Safaris and from start to finish the experience was top notch! The owners of Vikram Dayal and Chetan Mulani are truly passionate about Africa and are well networked locally. The trip was especially worthwhile as I got to watch the well travelled wildebeest and zebras in millions and their attendant predators migrating up from Serengeti and filling the plains to bursting. The thrill of watching the spectacle of lions mating and seeing a cheetah with her cubs royally sipping water and walking down the path with a queue of safari vehicles lined up to get a clear view of her is indescribable. Vikram from Incredible Africa Safaris is very knowledgeable about local animals, birds, people and their habitat and was always willing to share facts and stories. Our safari guides Simon and Paul were very experienced and their keen eyes missed nothing- a striped kingfisher in the tree above or the drag marks where a leopard had hauled its kill through the grass. Incredible Africa added a surprise stop over at lake Naivasha for a boat ride and we were treated to more wildlife including white flamingos and Hippos. I highly recommend using Incredible Africa Safaris. Thank you both for the wonderful trip. I look forward to my next Africa trip in 2016 with you guys!

"Lots of pleasant surprises"
Thanks Chetan and Vikram for this amazing experience in Masai Mara for the great migration. It was something different than any other trip ever taken where we go sight seeing, beaches, monuments and historic places. Watching those animals which we have seen only in kindergarten books, right in front of us in the open following their natural instincts and not locked up in the zoo was beyond my expectation. The wildebeests an zebras in abundance, giraffes, warthogs, Thomson's gazelle, The topi, The Eland, the cheetah with a hunt and the lion with 2 failed hunts and a lot more to list here. Vikram is highly informed about various species and their names and habitat and characteristics and also loves to explain the same. Both Chetan and Vikram are pretty chilled out and at times treat you like friends more than clients. This exp with incredible safari was amazing, the 6 days in the wilderness were not short of pleasant surprises with every game drive. Will try to do this again in the near future. Africa has a lot to offer it seems.
"God sent opportunity"
A safari through Masai Mara is a god sent opportunity for any photographer and I am extremely fortunate that I had such an opportunity. To be so up close with some of the most magnificent creatures of the natural world, i.e. the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, gazelles and wildebeest, the experience is truly breath taking. The reserve park carries an aura about it, and for good reason. Home to one of greatest migrations in the world, the enormity of it strikes a chord with you at the most primal level, leaving us in eternal awe of the natural world. Last but not the least I am indeed thankful to organisers for having given me the opportunity to be one with the roots of us all, the truly remarkable wild natural world. This was an absolutely unforgettable and fantastic experience and looking forward to much and many more experiences with you all. Thanks a lot again Vikram and Chetan.
"Minimum hassle... Maximum viewing time"
I was a part of the expedition to the Masai Mara earlier this month, a tour organized by Incredible Africa Safaris. It was my first trip to Africa & my first Safari and I have to say that Vikram, Chetan & Co. were brilliant all through the trip. They've set the bar very high. The camp site was comfortable and situated right on the edge of the game reserve and we got to see wildlife roaming free, from the entrance of our tent. Amazing. The guides who accompanied us on the game drives were excellent and very friendly- the way they spotted animals and identified the species from 100s of meters away never failed to amaze me. Overall, for me, the entire trip was well organized from the beginning to the end. The company I had during the trip was excellent. The entire trip went down with minimum hassle and maximum viewing time in the park with the animals. Top marks from me and I am looking forward to the next safari - when I've managed to save enough money!
"Helicopter over Victoria Falls... Nairobi weather... unforgettable trip"
Thank you Vikram and Chetan for an amazing Africa safari. This was my first trip to Africa and I came back with a great experience- visit to Victoria falls from the Zambian and Zimbabwe sides- amazing scenery, noise of the falls in the night and a wonderful helicopter ride will always remain in mind. The early morning hunt by lions next to our lodge on Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience. Masai Mara in Kenya was excellent- one eyed leopard on the tree, lion hunt misfiring, cheetah family and hyenas next to the tent at night are great memories. Last but not the least the lovely weather in Nairobi. For all those who can't think beyond Europe and Thailand, please go to Africa- you will want to go every year !!
"Perfect itinerary... fabulous lodges"
Thank you Vikram and Chetan for a wonderful Kenya Safari. We went with Incredible Africa Safaris to Kenya for a 10 day magical Safari. We visited Amboseli, Tsavo West, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara. I travelled with my wife Kareena Gadiali Hussain and 5 year old daughter Hayden. Incredible Africa Safaris did a fantastic job of planning our itinerary to perfection and selecting fabulous lodges at all these parks. Pre trip Vikram and Chetan were full of practical suggestions and pointers that made our trip much more comfortable . Once we landed in Nairobi we were taken care by their very knowledgable and experienced naturalist Simon. His knowledge of the bush was second to none and at the same time he took care of all our needs that made us feel right at home in the wilderness. I totally recommend everyone travel with these guys for an African Safari . We feel our lil Hayden matured a lot during the trip and saw animals,birds and landscapes which most people don't ever see in their lifetime. Our safari to East Africa was unforgettable! Despite our many discussions about the annual wildebeest migration before departure, what we saw was way beyond our expectations. Your passion and knowledge of the birds and animals coupled with the great instincts of David and Simon, enabled us to see many “stories” about how the various animals and birds live together and fight for survival in their natural habitat. On the flip side, while our accommodations in Tanzania were excellent, the lodge in the Mara was not of the same standard. Also, given the state of the roads, and the amount of driving we did, a landcruiser is definitely more preferred to a safari van in Kenya. Finally, wish we had been better prepared to handle the Tsetse flies in the Serengeti! We appreciate your traveling with us and we highly recommend Incredible Africa Safaris to all our family and friends!

It was all planned so perfectly right from both of you meeting us at Mumbai at that unearthly hour, to our flights, to the visas in Kenya Tanzania, to the wonderful driver-guides and vehicles, and also letting us get our day of shopping! All the lodges and camps we stayed at where chosen with great care, and each park for the right amount of days. The variety of food,despite my being a vegetarian, was so much that we all packed in the pounds! Africa is so unbelievably beautiful, but you made it even more fabulous with your enthusiasm and knowledge. You would stop the vehicles for even the smallest of creatures, plants and trees. This helped us to be able to appreciate much more than just the big five, and gain more insight into this most lovely, raw and pure part of Africa. It was wonderful the way you encouraged us when we'd spot an animal, and make us feel like experts! I can't thank you enough for making our dream holiday even more, much more, wonderful than what we expected. We can't wait for our next trip back to God's Eden.

An 18 day safari of Kenya and Tanzania is not easy to plan and execute - congrats and thanks for meeting and exceeding our expectations! We were very happy with the guides, vehicles, lodges and camps, and Kirawira was the highlight of our stay. The Migration, the leopards, the lionesses on trees, the Tarangire bulls and the 'red' bull elephants at Tsavo, the nightly lion calls, the cape buffalo just below our room at the crater, the sunset at Lake Victoria, the road journey from Lake Victoria to Masai Mara on the dirt track, the endless evening chats of the days sightings - it was one long and amazing safari!

A long overdue post, but our memories of this incredible trip, planned so meticulously by vikram and sutapa, are still so fresh in our minds. We did our Kenya safari with Incredible Africa Safaris in December 2019. Our party included two senior citizens and two kids (one being a 2 year old) and planning our itinerary with this mind is where Vikram’s true Africa expertise shone through. We were put up in the the right hotels, kid friendly, but also those that helped us experience true jungle living, we had a guide and a set of wheels with us right from the time we landed in Nairobi. This made our safaris very convenient and comfortable. Our guide, Simon, was spectacular...totally passionate about showing us the game...but let us enjoy it at our own pace. I think he has etched a place in all our hearts (esp the kids) forever! He also had great skills when it came to manouvering the muddy and slippery tracks in the bush! And all through our trip, Vikram, was in constant touch with us..whether it was recommending shopping and eating in Nairobi, or arranging lovely bush sundowners and breakfasts for us! It is but absolutely sure that all our future Africa safaris are going to be with Incredible Africa Safaris!! Cant recommend them enough!!

We went to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda seven years ago combining work and safari and totally fell in love with East Africa mentally promising ourselves an encore. And what an encore it was this year with Incredible Africa Safaris. A great itinerary, thoughtfully planned, fantastic tented camps in Tarangire, Serengeti and Mara, wonderful guides with David in Tanzania and Dickson in Kenya and the finale, hitting the jackpot of having Vikram Dayal himself with us for the Kenya leg in Masai Mara and Nairobi! IAS prides itself on keeping close touch with its guides and its guests; with attention to detail on a daily basis, to ensure our safety and comfort, no stone was left unturned, no detail considered too mundane to be ignored by them, so much concern and sensitivity for a senior citizen foursome on an adventure trail. On safari in east Africa seeing animals is a no brainer, (and we saw them all in profusion) but knowledge, anticipation and sharing of local lore and history made everything come alive for us over our 10 days on the road. A bird watching challenge forced us to keep our eyes focused and minds alive which made us aware of the wealth of nature available that exists beyond the bigger mammals - we were thrilled to surpass the 150 bird mark set for us by Vikram before we headed for home, tired but ecstatic ! Full marks Sutapa, Vikram and Team IAS, as far as we concerned we give you 150 out of 100 for a wonderful trip, it was everything we hoped for and more - were there any negatives to report ? None that we can remember. Thank you so much.
"Brilliant guide...Holiday of a lifetime"
A holiday of a lifetime! Africa is a different experience altogether, and our first trip there was made even more special by the team at Incredible Africa Safaris. From managing the chaos of planning for a 10-member group with different requirements, to the places we stayed at (Serena lodges and Chaka camps), to the outstanding food including the packed breakfasts and lunches that had us all putting on a couple of kgs by the end of the trip, to the brilliant guides (David and Chande), to the amazing sightings we had each and every day, it just couldn't have been any better. The icing on the cake - Vikram joined us for the Tarangire leg - he made a special trip out to meet us at Kilimanjaro and be with us for the first two days. It was wonderful to have him there, and the bird list got off to a great start because of his presence! 🙂 Serengeti was all that we had expected and more, but Tarangire is a little gem definitely not to be missed on a trip to Tanzania. A special mention also of the tented camps that were really terrific places to stay - superb personalised service, a sense of intimacy because of the smaller numbers, outstanding food and a great feeling of being out in the wild. All in all, a trip of a lifetime, and hopefully the first of many more to the African continent! Definitely with Incredible Africa Safaris!
"Best family vacation"
Probably one of the best family vacations we have been on! My wife Shabana and I have been keen on an East Africa Safari for a while but weren’t sure whether our son was old enough for one (he is 6.5 years old ) . So when Sutapa called Shabana and told her of the plan to do a quick Kenya trip with the kids for the Diwali break (our children are friends from school), we jumped at the offer. Knowing that we were in the expert hands of Vikram we left all the planning to him and IAS. The entire itinerary was designed to make us first timers experience the many facets of Kenya while keeping it child friendly from a safety point of view. We landed in Nairobi on Saturday morning and met up with Simon. Simon was our guide, driver, curio shop negotiator and pretty much the expert on all flora, fauna and birds to be found in Kenya. He also has eyes at the back of this head as we were to find out numerous times on our game drives. Fantastic guy, great temperament and the kids simply loved Simon Uncle and his “invincible” car. We spent 1 night in Nairobi, 2 nights at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, 1 night at Lake Naivasha and 3 nights at Maasai Mara. Multiple animal sightings are expected in Kenya but both of us didn’t expect the quality of sightings and experiences which we got over the 7 days. Some of the incredible ones which will stay with us for a long time are: 1. 16 Cheetah sightings- including the famous 5 brothers 2. Many of the big 5 including the elusive leopard with his fresh kill in the branch above 3. Reverse migration of the wildebeest and Zebra. Myriad antelopes up close including the shy Eland (many times) 4. Birds -too many to count and name. We tried to photograph the Africa Fish Eagle fishing off Lake Naivasha while boating amongst the territorial hippos. We also realized that Vikram could take up an alternate career as an ornithologist 5. Incredible experiences which included feeding and petting a fully grown blind African white rhino, being forced off a narrow road by a gigantic tusker, a failed attempt by a lioness to catch a Thomson, close encounter with a hippo grazing on the lawns near our room in Lake Naivasha on the way back from dinner on foot, grabbing lunch in Maasai Mara under a tree with the wildebeest and Zebra on guard to warn us of the presence of the big cats and the most surreal sun-downer on the Maasai Mara in an open area protected by the Rangers and the Maasai with buffalos, tuskers and hyenas in close proximity and a lion kill around 500 meters away 6. The children being taught to fish (they caught 18 between the two of them), throw a Maasai spear and dance with the warriors. The children loved the entire trip despite the long drives between the various locations and we managed to keep them off their Ipads for almost all the time. Overall a fantastic experience and we are already planning our next trip with IAS to Serengeti and Maasai Mara. The lodges we stayed in esp Serena Sweetwaters and Sarova Mara Camp were top class with all modern amenities, great food and wildlife literally at our doorstep. Vikram and Simon are really passionate about Kenya and you can make out their excitement at seeing the next animal, plant or bird as if it their first time. For anyone planning a trip to Kenya , Tanzania, Botswana you should definitely give them a call.
"Highly recommended... Worth every penny"
We had a trip of a lifetime - bucket-list worthy. Incredible Africa Safaris built a custom plan for us with the Elawana group of properties in Tanzania. They took care to plan it after understanding from us what we were comfortable with, what we enjoyed doing, and also what was our idea of a good holiday. The properties were outstanding, luxurious, yet very much in tune with the nature around. Most of the properties had no fences, so we were literally living amongst the animals - we even had the lions roaring while we slept - very thrilling. Besides the properties, the safaris themselves were spectacular - we went to 3 different reserves - Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. All three were different and distinct. The guides were knowledgeable, and managed to show us amazing, closeup views of all the animals we could want, from cheetahs, leopards, lions, elephants to rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and hyenas. The sundowners and lunches in the parks were also very special, and unforgettable. Lastly, the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the elawana crew was simply amazing - from the guides, to the masai spotters, to the camp staff - all so friendly and helpful. The only part I would warn against is the early morning hot air balloon ride, which is not required if you have been with Elewana, and is a bit of a tourist trap. Overall, an amazing trip, highly recommended, and worth every penny - thank you Incredible Africa Safaris!
"Everything we had dreamt of"
Our African safari was everything we had dreamt of and more. From stunning sunsets, incredible sightings, fabulous food and accommodation, excellent guides ... all this without having to spend weeks planning -- thanks to Incredible Africa Safaris. Vikram ensured that everything went smoothly from the start to the end -- including visas, tickets, permits, bookings, and a hundred other details, including birthday celebrations in bush style - which would have been impossible to do otherwise. The safari was tailor made to our requirements and every day was better than the day before. The only downside was saying goodbye. Thank you Incredible africa safaris - we hope to be back soon.
"Epic safari...worth every penny"
Epic safari that just blew us away! When you think you’re a seasoned traveller, there’s certain things that you have preferences on...but booking some types of holidays can be complex, like knowing which side of which atols in the Maldives are best at which times of the year...so this is when we definitely put trust in experts and get particular about who we choose and then we go head first with their recommendations. But we never expected for Incredible Africa Safaris to get it THIS right when we put our trust in them for our first African Safari! A review for this trip could take ages as it was one of the most eventful trips we’ve ever taken with each day being amazing in its own way, so we’ve tried to cover some highlights!...hopefully we will do it justice! Firstly, they took time to understand what time we had available and when, asked us what other holidays we’ve been on and what we enjoyed the most...this being our first African Safari, Vikram and Chetan put together an itinerary for Kenya that clearly had a personal touch. They not only have been to all the places they recommend, but have been and still visit them personally each year! We landed at Nairobi at 5am on a Saturday in October and we’re greeted by a porter with a placard at the exit of immigration...we were the only people who were greeted at this point and escorted to get our bags from the belt and then all the way to meet our guide and driver for the trip out in the car park. Simon, our guide and driver was courteous, personable and so knowledgeable - first and foremost, an animal and safari lover! As the days went by, we got to know him very well and the humour, the integrity and care he puts into his job was probably one of the best bits of the Safari, apart from the animals and lodging! First stop, Aberdare Country Club where we were having lunch - but before that, we decided to take a horseback Safari...and within minutes of being in the national park, we were up close with Giraffes and Zebras! Lunch was amazing and every venue / camp we stayed at was equally special...Kinga being Vegan, IAS had advised us to speak to the chefs and we got some serious special treatment! Plenty to choose from but initial highlights included an amazing Avocado salad and vegan chocolate moose! The food at every venue was amazing and we got the same special care at all 5 of the places we stayed! In fact, Kinga got to know each chef by name and some were even asking her what she fancied for the next meal and then they would make it happen! The first night’s accommodation was at The Ark...which was our first sighting of buffalo, jackals, hyena, elephants and more! The Ark is themed as you could imagine, the fact that it was raining made it even more authentic as you get to stare out at the animals right next to the Ark at the watering hole and even has a ‘bunker’ where you can go out to take pictures at any time of the night...there’s a wonderful talk in the evening about the venue, the park and conservation that they do which was a really nice touch by the owners! Then we were off to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and stayed in Sweetwaters Camp...greeted within minutes by mother and baby Rhinos and warthogs! Our tent was facing out into the wild and it was a really cool set up where animals can roam around but they do have some fences up so the big stuff can’t get to the tents! This is where we really got to know Simon...this guy, is amazing. We were not only guided by him but his diligence meant we got to spend as long as we wanted and got some of the best views of so many wild animals without disturbing them or getting in their way! The highlight being one morning game drive where we got to see a herd of Lions eating an elephant that was a victim in a fight with another elephant the day before! Next stop was Lake Naivasha Country Club, which was a beautiful property with direct access to the water which meant we spent most of the first day quietly watching hippos and managed to get some really good close ups! We did have a boat ride planned here but due to some heavy rain for an hour, we rescheduled for Sunrise and we were so glad we did it! Mirror flat water and stunning reflections plus so many hippos and birds and not a single sold out on the water but us! We even got to visit Crescent Isle where they filmed Out of Africa and more importantly, has been a favourite bird watching spot for Sir Attenborough! Last stop was for a longer stay of three nights and we headed to Sarova Camp in Masai Mara...the first game drive and we saw 10 cheetahs....yes TEN! The food here was top notch, the first night were were greeted by a Masai welcome and the staff were attentive and really cared for your satisfaction. Sarova is an Eco resort and another cool thing to do between safari game drives was to visit the garden to meet the gardeners and see where they grow all their veggies onsite! They even compost and ensure that water is re-used! Simon excelled in the Masai Mara with a number of epic finds on the game drives such as a rare Serval cat, leopards and so many other cool sightings coupled with facts about jackals, hyenas, leopards and many other animals we saw...Simon also found an amazing spot for a picnic on the full day game drive, the same day we got right down to the Mara river and got to see wildebeests and zebra crossing amongst Lions, Crocs and Hippos! The last drive was pretty special as it ended watching 5 cheetahs chasing some zebra for their next meal! Simon was making this trip his personal safari adventure too and was not settling for an average experience! We knew we were seeing rare sights special things when he was taking pictures too and that made us feel even more like it was an epic safari trip! The cool thing about the Sarova Camp was that they had a salt-lick watering hole so event when we weren’t on Safari, we could sit with a GnT in the trees and watch the animals and rare birds wander down for a drink! We did get time for a bit of poolside chilling here and it was a lovely spot with a clean pool and attentive barman. Sarova is no ordinary camp...this is great luxury accommodation without the pomp and fuss which will likely be difficult to achieve without ditching the eco standards...but the level of service was superb! Lastly, it’s essential to add that the drives between the parks we visited can be long, a few hours each, but were not that bad...the worst part being some rough un-tarmaced roads but Simon knew the roads so well and minimised the effect and drove safely at all times! Additionally, we realised that you spend a lot of time in the car and Simon’s experience and driving really made our trip extra special! Due to a Sunday morning flight home to London, we had our last night in Nairobi, where we said farewell to Simon and the prearranged hotel car (via IAS) was to take us to the airport the next morning. However, we had heard that a visit to Nairobi would not be complete without a meal at the iconic Carnivore restaurant...a Brazilian style African feast, with a great local twist on the caipirinha called Dawa (medicine in Swahili!) made from vodka, honey and a few other things! Well during the trip we had been in contact with Vikram and Chetan via a WhatsApp group as they were keen to make sure we were happy at each part of the trip...and wanted to make sure we got the best from each place we were going to...part of the personal ‘5 star concierge service’! But when we asked if we should book a table, they not only booked us a table and car to take us there but also said that they would like to pay for our meal as a gesture! This was the icing on the cake...a top class holiday, a world class guide and a personal touch throughout! We are already planning our next safari with IAS for the Serengeti! If you haven’t been on Safari in Africa, then we’d wholeheartedly recommend it if you love animals like us and want to see them in the wild. But if you want to feel like you are shadowing Sir David Attenborough then Incredible Africa Safaris are worth every penny! Five Stars!!

Through Incredible Africa, we had a fabulous experience at the Limban Resort, Tadoba. Though we decided to go only last minute, Chetan from Incredible Africa worked with the resort to ensure that we were allotted all the safaris we wanted, very smooth airport pick up and drop, and everything was planned to perfection. From the comfort of the camps they meticulously selected to their guide Simon who patiently ensured we saw the Big 5, hunts and much more - Incredible African Safaris had every minute detail taken care of. Every camp had been pre informed of an extra bed and all such smaller details just added to 1 big experience! Simon who started as a guide and ranger ended up as a friend, with long 5-6 hours going as a breeze with long conversations about wildlife, their culture and politics. This trip has converted us to wildlife enthusiasts- the beautiful and bountiful giraffes and zebras drinking water in queues, the Gazelle running to save its life on spotting a cheetah, the lion taking care of its cubs, Guinea fowl giving a call to warn the Impala about the lion hunting, the leopard feasting on its kill, one lion chasing another off its territory... the list is endless and engraved in our hearts!

"Rare sightings...truly incredible"
This was our first trip with Incredible Africa Safaris and we had the most exciting time. Apart from the rarest sightings of leopards mating and driving along a walking lioness, we saw the rare colobus monkey, several hippos and a family of cheetahs. The highlight was the herd of zebras crossing the Mara river while a well fed croc lay gaping along with several hippos. We even saw a rhino briefly. He was happy to take over the planning for the trip and in one day came a plan that sounded great and exciting. My family and I have never been to Africa and didn’t know what to expect. Vikram’s advice was reassuring and exuded confidence that I could trust. He spent a lot of time understanding what we normally do, explaining the trip in detail to me and telling me what to expect. It all sounded great and the trip was finalised. Once done Vikram & Sutapa took over the execution. All of which was handled efficiently and smoothly. We left of Kenya in mid July and it has been an amazing trip. Simon (our guide) who managed us on ground is an awesome person. Easy to get along and knowledgeable. As a family all of us got along with him and that made the trip even more amazing. Sutapa was tracking us everyday and checking if any problems. The trip was a dream and superbly planned and managed. "Luxury... very special trip"
We just went on safari for two weeks to Kenya! The whole trip was organized for us by Chetan and Vikram and they did a wonderful job, down to the last details. We visited several camps, from Lake Naivasha to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Amboseli and Masai Mara. At each of these we were at a luxury hotel or tented camp, and we saw a variety of wildlife that we had never seen before! All our needs were well looked after and both Vikram and Chetan were always available by phone to answer any questions we had. It was a wonderful adventure, one we will never forget! We saw a variety of species - hippos, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, lion, leopard and cheetah, elephants, rhinos black and white, jackals, hyenas, buffalo, gazelles and antelopes... Learning about all these different species was a treat for our minds and souls. Animals are often more human than we want to believe. Thank you guys, for making this a very special trip, one we will cherish for years to come.

This vacation explore AFRICA. I know Europe is on every travelers mind…especially if its Spain. But for our family a reputed Tour operator gave us a blur of memories like the bus which speed past our 10 precious days. So this holiday we were totally disillusioned, till we were referred to IAS(Incredible Africa Safaris) by a friend. Hiring IAS for our Kenya trip was the best decision we took. Well spaced out tour, good hotel locations and a great itinerary were the hallmarks of this trip. Our guide Mr Simon Mwanza….was truly the special edition, Kenyan encyclopedia, well versed with every kind of flora and fauna. There was rarely a thing he did not know about. What a lovely way to gain knowledge as we had fun with our binoculars, soaking in the sights and sounds of Africa. We met several Indian travelers who had been to different national parks and were constantly on the move. But we were well spaced savouring each place and each day or rather each moment in Africa is different. Although we were miles apart we were monitored 24x7 by the IAS team in real time. Kenya is etched in our memories and will remain there for a long time thanks to the three ‘Incredibles’ Vikram, Sutapa and Chetan. They made our safari holiday truly INCREDIBLE…Thank You Team IAS
"Dream safari...Full marks to the itinerary"
Thank you Vikram Dayal for organising a dream Safari for us in Tanzania and Kenya. Truly 9 amazing days!! Full marks to the itinerary and selection of lodges.Location of Camps was fantastic. Food was great too. Everything worked like clock work. Transfer from Tanzania to Kenya was par excellence The trip comprised road travel from Kilimanjaro - Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro- Serengeti - Masai Mara.We literally had a cloud burst of CATS!! Saw 70 plus lions, 9 leopards & 15 Cheethas!! We were lucky to witness many stalkings by lionesses/Cheetah/ Leopard.. We fortunate to see stalking & Killing by a Sleek Cheetah, in Serengeti reserve. Saw plenty of herbivores too!! We even witness a 'Micro Migration' of Wildebeest and Zebras in Masai Mara, to and fro from 'View point' to Masai triangle. "Migration...Big Five... Highly recommended"
We heard of Incredible Africa Safaris from a friend who had been on a safari with them recently. Initially we had planned South Africa but then they convinced us to visit East Africa as the migration season was in full swing. Our safari to Kenya was awesome. We saw the migration and the big five - something we had only dreamed about. We were lucky to view a crossing. We saw cheetahs hunting full grown wildebeest, which is rare. All in all we had a fantastic time. We would like to thank our guide Simon for his effort and Chetan for meeting us on demand and explaining the nuances of wildlife photography. We highly recommend Incredible Africa Safaris and are already signed up for a Tanzania safari in July 2018!

Did a trip across Serengeti and Masai Mara in July. Vikram’s plan was really awesome - you should trust his suggestions. Has so much experience and passion - he will work out what’s best for you. Our guide David was also incredible! Especially his leopard spotting skills! Will ask for him when we go back. Thank you, Vikram and David for one of the best holidays ever.
"River crossing... meticulous arrangements"
Kenya safari - the eighth wonder of the world. Animals animals everywhere...!!! We went to Kenya specifically during migration time but had never imagined to see half a million of wildebeest at one go. They were just everywhere, as far as our eyes could see..they covered miles and miles of land..wildebeest and zebras dominated the landscape. We were lucky to spot not just the big 5 and the ferocious cats but thanks to our guide Simon, we were able to enjoy the chase and a kill too..!! It's amazing to see the behaviour and mannerism of wild animals in their natural habitat so closely. Like how the herd of elephants protects the baby calf near the waterhole or how the lion roars with anger when another mature male lion tries to come near his territory which he has already marked or simply seeing and admiring the way the giraffes strut around confidently...!! In Masai Mara, near the river our patience paid off as we got to see how systematically the wildebeest cross the river one after the other in a straight line...it was a sight to watch them as these animals waited for half an hour, evaluated the danger in the river and when they thought they were safe they carried on with crossing from one side of the river to the other without any loss of life...!!!! Simply marvel of the nature... Such many more experiences are etched in our memory...!! Safari was an experience of a lifetime...!! Kudos to the team of incredible Africa Safari for planning, arranging and executing our trip so meticulously. Thanks Chetan and Vikram and keep up the good work...!!

Mala's and my Kenyan holiday with Incredible Africa Safaris turned out to be truly incredible! The driver/guide could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable. Additionally, the locations and activities were so clearly and carefully selected by Chetan and Vikram, that the whole trip was a string of only memorable experiences.

"Delightful trip"
We enjoyed a delightful trip to Kenya over 13 days end May 2017. We were lucky with game watching in most parts, besides good weather. I enjoyed the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Serena's Sweet Water tented camps the most. I think a shorter trip to fewer parks would have been even more enjoyable, but I'm glad we got to see quite a lot.
